BodgeOS

  • Created the bodge-status utility that provides a status_command for swaybar in the BodgeOS desktop
  • Packaged a lot of utilities to have a somewhat well featured Sway desktop on BodgeOS

Packaged:

  • Sway desktop utilities: mako, grim, bodge-status, libnotify and himitsu
  • Pipewire with it's dependency chain (like lua, apk finally has help now!)
  • The required packaging for PAM so sessions behave correctly
  • The required infrastructure to connect to WiFi networks
  • The dependencies of nodejs, the nodejs package itself was added a few hours in 2026. nodejs is again needed to build libgit2
  • Wrote the 5th blogpost in the BodgeOS series

Other

  • Created netboot2go, an all-in-one binary for hosting a PXE server to quickly netboot an image.
  • Implemented setting the "Featured" flag on posts and pages in spook-go.
  • Re-enabled the camera control decoder in pyatem
  • Made a bunch of progress in rewriting the protocol decoders in the pyatem library.
  • Created a hosting environment for infomir streaming boxes that I just noticed really needs to be pushed.
  • Added PDF source support to Fazantix so presentation slides can be loaded directly into a FOSDEM box.
  • Pushed a series of board updates to https://hackerboards.com/
