  • Fixed the documentation because I changed the function signature for some critical parts
  • Created https://updates.openswitcher.org/ which allows using WebUSB to track your inventory of BMD converters and their firmware versions

FOSDEM

This month had another hackathon for the FOSDEM infrastructure. This mostly meant a weekend of hacking on the new FOSDEM audio hardware and the Fazantix video mixer.

The hackathon was the first chance to look at the rev.D audio boards but sadly we discovered some critical issues on that board that prevents mass production for FOSDEM this year. For the video mixing software a lot of time was spend on adding little fixes and performance improvements and getting audio in the streams, this means that Fazantix finally has reached the minimal features to mix a FOSDEM Room

Megapixels

Tagged a 2.0.0 release for the Megapixels codebase, mainly because it works better than any of the alternatives on the Pixel 3a so this allows packaging it for distributions. This includes:

  • Autofocus bugfixes
  • A new pixel 3a config
  • A new Oneplus 6 config
  • Also tagged a new release for libmegapixels and libdng.
